Hey everyone! I just wanted to jump on here and talk about what to wear for engagement sessions. This is a super common question that I get, and I just wanted to address it for everybody, so you guys know exactly what you should be wearing and how to best pick it out.

I always recommend wearing two outfits for your engagement session, something more formal and then something more casual. This way you guys can hit both ends of the spectrum and you can really dress up and take advantage of that but also have something more casual to show your you guys in your everyday life and have like more fun with the session.

Other tips for having great outfits for your engagement session is to make sure that you coordinate and don't match. We don't want to have these sessions give off like an early 2000s vibe with matching white t-shirts and that type of thing. Having coordinating colors is the perfect way to do that.

I also recommend not wearing any crazy patterns or small stripes. This will distract from the two of you and create a like great weird environment for everything. So I highly recommend like either like larger patterns. Florals are fine to wear. I also recommend avoiding small stripes because it can cause a problem in the camera. I know that sounds weird, but it's true.

I recommend wearing muted tones for your wet for your engagement photos. Something like marooned greens, blues, grays, and other colors along those lines are perfect to wear because they aren't going to distract from you two or your environment.

Lastly, I want to make sure that you guys are wearing something comfortable that because it will show in your photos if you're not comfortable in what you're wearing. Make sure that you try on your outfits beforehand to to make sure you're comfortable. Everything fits properly. Don't wait until the day up to do that.
